Honestly, brides would come in and *offload*. I saw firsthand how much time, effort, and tears go into planning a wedding. The stress of it, the pressure. And it kinda broke my heart a little.
So when I became a wedding videographer, I never wanted my couples to feel like that.
It started off small, with my little bag of tricks. Mini scissors, bobby pins, boob tape, and all sorts of “oh, you lifesaver” items. And then gradually it became about more than just ‘things’.
I’ve always been good at keeping calm when people are stressed. And that’s what I became to my couples.
*That* person.
The person who’ll calm you down, and tell you you’ve got time. The first “WOO!” to get the crowd cheering (and dying with cringe as I do so!) The one who’ll step in and help when your mum’s hands start to shake.
For me it’s about so much more than just making epic wedding films. I really do want you to have the best day ever.
The moments that happen naturally are where the magic lies, so staying unobtrusive is my usual approach, but I’ll be there to guide you in certain moments of course. I like to keep you laughing, and let you enjoy your wedding day with all of your important people - I'm there to capture almost as if from a guests perspective.
When filming on your day, I operate with 2 cameras and discreet yet professional audio equipment to get the best for your wedding films. The 'magic' then happens during the editing stage. Stitching all of your footage together as if it were a mini film featuring you and your fiancé. I like to use warm/natural tones and colours, while finding emotion led music to match the vibe of your wedding day. Sound like a good fit? Say hi using my contact page!
